In memory of......

Aurelio De Sousa Boura

It has been a rough week in our family. My father in law had a massive aneurism on Saturday night and passed away on Monday.

It is so very sad. To make it worse, I was in Atlanta and could not get an early return flight to Portland to be with Frenchy, and I could not get him a flight to Porto, Portugal – to be with his family - until yesterday. Frenchy just arrived in Porto this morning and the funeral is scheduled for tomorrow.

I am so very sad for the whole family but I am happy for the families of two kidney recipients in the same area. Jose’s mother chose to donate her husbands kidneys to help save the lives of two others.

Life is so short. Make the most of it.

Last night in Atlanta.

A little foggy here...... But had an AMAZING dinner at Ecco thanks to Kristen and Brooke. You have to try this place. We liked it so much we went twice!!!

Seems strange to be shopping for Xmas in January!!!

Little 5 Corners....

My darling friend Miss Nogol took Pam and I to dinner in the Little 5 Corners area. So cute!!! We ate ( and drank) at The Porter. So many beers, so little time. Glad Nogol was driving!!!

I had to get this line for the shop..... Just look at it!!! Dreamy orange!!!! Their front window display was amazing!! This is from Toss out of San Francisco.

Glory B Hats ....

By far the most unusual and creative booth I found yesterday. These hats are all made out of paper bags, flowers, feathers and other adornments. So much fun!!! Great Easter Bonnets. Had to get some!!
