GOOD MORNING! We have been remiss....we totally forgot to post the Cocktail of the Week Recipe AND the design Tip of the Week for last week! OOOOOOPS! So here you go for the first episode of 05/13/09.

KIR ROYALE:
4 oz. of french champagne or a very good sparkling wine.

( I prefer Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs)

1 oz. creme de cassis liqueur

Pour the creme de cassis in your beautiful champagne glass first and slowly add the champagne. Give it a quick stir and enjoy. It you like - add a sugar cube to your glass and watch it sizzle!

DESIGN TIP OF THE WEEK:

When sampling a new paint color in your space, paint at least a 12" x 12" patch on more than one wall and look at it during different times of the day, with natural and artificial light and live with it for a few days before making a decision!
